There are two services that you need for a functioning site - a domain plus a web hosting plan for it. If you type the domain address in your web browser, you see the content that’s uploaded within the website hosting account, but if that domain address is not linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it is parked. In other words, the domain is registered and you are its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. Instead, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it can be forwarded to some other URL of your choice. The main advantage of parking a domain name is that you can keep it and make sure that nobody else is going to take it. In the meantime, it will not occupy a slot for a hosted domain name inside your account. You could also park domain names if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain addresses with other extensions such as .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main website in order to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Website Hosting

You are going to be able to park as many domain names as you would like with each of the website hosting plans that we offer. Needless to say, this feature is offered just for domain addresses registered with us as the service is always provided only by the registrar. As opposed to many companies, we do not charge anything extra for parking a domain name and the process is going to take only a few clicks in your Hepsia CP. We've got a number of parking templates to choose from where you can include custom text. If you choose to host a parked domain in the future, adding it to your account takes only a mouse click. Everything essential for the website to start showing up, including creating a domain folder and creating DNS records is going to be done automatically by us. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to see a full list of the domain names you have registered through our company and you will be able to set a filter to view just the parked or just the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

With each and every semi-dedicated server we offer you are going to have the freedom to park as many domains that are registered through us as you would like. Given that only the registrar company can offer a parking function, you can't park domain names which are only hosted on our sophisticated cloud hosting platform. Using the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting CP you are able to park and un-park domains with only a couple of clicks and filter all domains that you have got by their status, for better administration. We provide a number of different templates you can use and if you want, you can also add some custom text to any one of them. If you choose to un-park a domain and host it within your account, you'll not have to do anything manually - our system is going to create a domain folder inside the File Manager section and will create all of the needed DNS records so that the domain address functions properly and starts loading the content that you upload for it on our servers.
